Terms & Conditions

The terms on which this publication is made available, and what is expected in return.

Last updated

By using XMatrix you accept these terms. They are deliberately brief. If you disagree with them, please do not use the site.

1. What this site is

XMatrix is a publication of essays and reflections. It is offered for reading and consideration. It is not advice — see the Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

2. Using the site

You may read, quote and share freely. You may not:

  • republish whole articles without written permission;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the system;
  • scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others;
  • use the site to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful material.

3. Intellectual property

All original writing, imagery and design on this site is owned by XMatrix or its contributors and protected by copyright. Quotation is welcome: you may quote up to a few hundred words with clear attribution and a link back to the original. For anything longer, for translation, or for commercial reuse, write to Admin@rajivkr.com — we usually say yes.

Quotations attributed to named third parties remain the property of their respective rights-holders and are reproduced here as commentary and criticism.

4. Comments and submissions

You retain ownership of what you write in a comment. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to display it on this site alongside the article. You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm it is yours to post.

We may edit, decline or remove a comment, at our discretion, if it is:

  • abusive, harassing or bigoted;
  • spam, or primarily an advertisement;
  • a personal attack rather than a disagreement;
  • unlawful, or infringing someone else’s rights.

Disagreement — including sharp disagreement with the author — is not grounds for removal.

5. Availability

The site is provided as it is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, and may edit or withdraw articles.

6. External links

Links to other sites are provided for reference. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, XMatrix is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on anything published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, where such limitation would be unlawful.

8. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page will reflect any change, and continued use of the site after that date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
